The Casio Atomic watches receive a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado and in the UK. Signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins and the U.K. transmitter. See manual for an explanation of ideal conditions for setting as well as factors or locations that can create and make reception difficult.
If you are not in the USA or the UK -- please note that I am not sure if the atomic signals for the watch will work from other atomic transmitters around the Globe. You may buy the watch only for the ton of other features that it has; and may try the atomic feature once you have the watch on your continent.
