The American Weigh 1000g x 0.1 digital scale is accurate to 1/10 of a gram. This scale has a capacity of 1000 grams. You can weigh in four different weighing units; grams, ounces, troy ounces, or pennyweights. This scale features digital auto calibration; digital user calibration. It also has a tare and hold feature. The display does have a back light for easy reading of the display. This scale is easy to operate with it's 4-key button selection. It operates on a 9v battery which is included. The scale will automatically shut off after 90 seconds of inactivity. The scales over all dimensions L x W x H are 6.2" x 7.2" x 1.6" with the weighing tray measuring 6" x 6".
