You are bidding at the Digitech firmware upgrade "2.00" for the TSR-24 (TSR-24S) effects processor.
This auction also includes the internal battery for the TSR-24(S) which should be replaced every 7 years.

First:
Check your software-version!!!
Switch on the unit while watching the display. The firmware version in shown there while boot up. E.g. the display shows "1.20" – that means firmware version 1.20.
If you have a lower version than 2.00 you can use this upgrade.
This upgrade works for ALL TSR-24 and TSR-24S!

Second:
Check the the cycle frequency of the main processor of your TSR-24(S)!!!
Execute these steps:
- Switch on the unit while watching the display.
- Check what is written after the firmware version.
There are 3 possibilities:
a) no trailing characters: that means you have 10MHz cycle frequency of the main processor
b) if there is written "10MHz" the main processor runs at 10MHz.
c) if there is written "20MHz" the main processor runs at 20MHz.

What you will get in this auction:
A complete firmware AND hardware-upgrade to 2.00 AND to 20MHz cycle frequency with detailed installation manuals in English!
This upgrade will make a TSR-24S out of any TSR-24!
If you are not sure which TSR-24(S) version you have or if you have any other problems just write me a message!
After the auction has ended I will ask you for your current firmware-version and cycle frequency and depending to this, I will send you the right parts you need to perform the upgrade to 2.00 - 20MHz!
A replacement battery CR2032 (The battery is not necessary for the upgrade, but you should take the opportunity to replace the battery when you have your unit open)

You will need a new user manual!!!
After you have upgraded to firmware version 2.00 you will need a new user manual (the manual for the TSR-24S) because the operation functions change with this software!

These upgrade (chips,battery and hardware parts) are new, tested, in working condition.

If you want to keep them, consider a bulk MIDI dump or individual program dump. (I don't know, though, if older TSR-24 programs will seamlessly load back into a TSR-24S.) Or, write down your most important settings on paper.
