This is for what I assume to be an unused, pair of vintage 1N23 radio frequency mixer diodes. They are the ceramic and gold cartridge case type. The diodes are marked "JCBNQ-1N23B BOMAC". They are in a foil lined envelope marked "R F INSURANCE KEEP CRYSTAL IN ENVELOPE WHEN NOT IN USE. ONE PAIR TO BE USED IN SETS ONLY." The box is marked "MFD. BY BOMAC LABS., INC. DATE PKD. 9/60 1N23BM Made In U.S.A. 5960-251-7577 SEMICONDUCTOR DIODE 1 SET 1N23BM AF 33 (604) 29981" Using the diode check on my digital multi-meter they tested to be neither shorted or open and having a forward voltage of 0.222 and 0.276 V.
