Hand painted wooden lady, or doll, napkin holder with a slotted skirt and a tomato on top of her head to use as a toothpick or hors d'oeuvres holder. This interesting figurine is painted with black hair, long eyelashes, orange top with "ruffles," and a blue skirt with a feathery design. She has a blasé expression, just doing her job carrying a big tomato on her head. :-)
She stands 8 inches tall and has a 2 3/4 inch diameter base. Some white paint speckles or red paint missing on the tomato. Also some paint missing in just a few tiny specks near the base edge. Her arms do move up and down. This is a pretty short napkin lady so I am guessing she is for cocktail napkins to go along with small hors d'oeuvres.
