This very nice miniature vase was turned from Tulip Poplar. This wood has a pretty grain structure and a slight two-toned color and has just a hint of of a chaytoyant flash.
It was shaped and finished by hand on a wood turning lathe. It is fully hollowed with a flared mouth rim and a moderate mouth opening.
It was polished to a silky shine with a natural shellac based friction polish. It would make a fine addition to any collection of miniature vases or wood turnings.
I accept PayPal, Money Orders, or Checks. Checks must clear before shipping. Payment in US Funds must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction. Shipping within the United States is $2.50 for USPS First Class Mail, plus the cost of optional insurance. I ship my miniatures securely packed in a sturdy box, however insurance is recommended, if available.
Bidders from Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan are welcome and encouraged to bid in my miniature auctions, with shipping via uninsured USPS International First Class Mail. Customs forms will be properly completed. Shipping to Canada is $3.00 and to Europe, Australia, or Japan is $5.00.
The cost for any other international rates for shipping or other services will vary. If you are not in a country in the areas listed above, please email me for shipping information prior to bidding. Any quotes will be given in and payment will be expected in US funds.
I will combine shipping for multiple wins of miniature auctions and if you desire, I will delay shipping for several days for your convenience. You only have to pay one shipping charge per shipment regardless of the number of miniatures enclosed.
