They take their name from the Sanskrit word domba, which refers to a caste of people who earn their living by singing, dancing and making music. Formed In 1996. they are known for their high energy performances. Inspired by the traditions of Arabic, West African, and Rom (gypsy) cultures and infused with a contemporary flavor from western society, Domba! has grown from their renaissance faire origin to performing at corporate/resort events, cultural presentations, weddings. music / dance and art festivals, rock concerts and nightclubs.
