An original creation by an animation legend...
Here is a rare drawing by animation legend Don Bluth from my fox art collection.

For nearly three decades I collected original art featuring the fox. At times I purchased existing pieces such as cels, paintings, cartoons and such. I also got original drawings from dozens of artists including animators, cartoonists, illustrators and more. At one time I had over 200 original pieces in my collection. Now it is time to find new homes for these amazing items.

Don Bluth began his career at Disney in the 1950s, but left for other interests. He returned in the 1970s where he championed a return to a more classic animated style. He and his friends staged a much publicized walkout from the Disney studio and created the critically acclaimed THE SECRET OF NIMH in 1982. Next was the groundbreaking DRAGON'S LAIR and SPACE ACE videogames. He then partnered with Steven Spielberg on the top grossing AN AMERICAN TAIL.

This piece was done in the mid 1980s during production of AN AMERICAN TAIL.
The image features two images of a fox in ragged attire... or is the larger character a wolf?
It is a pen and ink drawing on paper mounted to illustration board.
It is inscribed to me from Don. Board measures around 11x12.5 inches.
The art is in fine shape.
Animation art from a studio production can be hard to find...
but this original drawing is a creation totally from the artist's mind.

This would look great framed and displayed in any home, office, or studio.
