The book will show shelf wear, although never used, and the strings were put on a 3/4 bass for less than a week and removed again. I can always say I tried it anyway. The book sold for $35. and the strings were $150. ish. The strings are in great shape, the whole thing was too hard for me to change to, but interesting!
