In the pictures that we see here is a fine and solid Dover egg beater. This beater is in wonderful condition and works smooth as ever. On the wheel of the beater it is stamped "Dover Egg Beater; Patd May 6th, 1873, Apr. 3rd, 1888, Nov 24th, 1881; Boston, USA". Just below the handle there is a small three stamped also. On the back of the handle "Dover Stamping Co." is stamped. The handle is wood, but the rest of the piece is all metal. There is a solid base for one to rest the beater on so bowls don't get scratched by the tines. The beater stands 11" tall. This is a wonderful piece! xx402
