Blooms are 1/2 the size of regular African Iris!!
Tiny and Delicate!

Recommended Temperature Zone:
USDA: 8b-11

Frost Tolerance: Hardy to 15°F (-10°C)

Sun Exposure: Full sun to light shade (light shade is definitely better in the hot desert)

Origin: Eastern Africa, Malawi,Tanzania

Growth Habits: Evergreen perennial to 2 - 3 feet high

Watering Needs: Moderate to regular water, blooms more regularly with regular water

Propagation: Clump division in spring, seeds in spring or fall.

Blooming Habits:
The 1-inch wide flowers are short lived, but are numerous. They come in group at approximately 2 week intervals in spring and summer. Don't cut off the long flower stems, since they will grow more flowers.

Propagation:
Divide clumps in the fall, or in winter. Self seed easily.

Plants don't like shipping and can look a bit wilted when they arrive at their new home. Some plants will even drop leaves in protest.  This is not cause for alarm.  Please remove your plant promptly & carefully from the box and give fresh water.  If this is a plant you are not familiar with, it helps to do online research.
I ship most plants bare root with moist wrappings. Some are all of plants leaves may be removed for shipping. It is the buyers responsibility to plant it in a good quality soil.
