Dream Theater's Lifting Shadows - 1st ed collectors box

What you're bidding on is the 1st edition boxed set collector's edition of Lifting Shadows: The Authorized Story of Dream Theater. It contains two hardback books Images and Words and a special edition CD. Images contains nothing but beautiful photographs of the band throughout their years. Words contains the actual story of the band from their humble beginnings to the day they played at Radio City Music Hall. The CD contains various demos and rarities, including an instrumental version of Through Her Eyes.

Rich Wilson has stated at MikePortnoy.com that this version of the collector's edition will never be released again.
"As you might know, the original, two book, one CD special edition set has now completed sold out. As that was sold strictly on the basis that it was a limited print run, the publishers have rightly decided not to reissue that."

I was one of the first people to pay for the book before it even existed, earning myself a place in the Roll of Honor in Words. I have reluctantly decided to part with my copy. I've only opened Words up maybe a handful of times to read a bit here and there. I feel like it would be better appreciated by another fan.
