Drill Well Bucket - Homestead - Farm - Sand Bucket

We have an old fashioned hardware store in Eastern Kentucky and we are always finding things in the warehouse and in stock that are no longer manufactured or hard to find.  However, these items are very useful for the Homestead and Farm. 

You are buying a drill well bucket that was used way back when drill wells and manual pulling of water out of the well was a normal event in everyday life.  Some people call these "Sand Buckets."

These buckets are a little dusty but are brand new.  Can be used in a regular well or cistern if necessary. 

They are about 39 inches long and about 4 inches in diameter.  When the bucket is lowered into the well, a little float device opens and allows the bucket to fill with water and as it is pulled out, it locks in the water until you get ready to release the water into another container.
