Duncan Gloss Glaze
A wealth of colors with a brilliant finish. Choose from transparent color washes to rich opaques. High shine, true colors, top performers. These are the leaded versions of the Envision glazes. Gloss glazes move slightly more in firing than Envisions, and need not be applied as smoothly. Apply to cone 04 bisque, fire to 06.
All these glazes are toxic (contain lead) except Diamond Clear.
The carved vase/bowl in the color ship means the glaze is Translucent. Those without the carved vase/bowl are opaque .
Duncan Art Glazes
Speckled, spectacular, unique and beautiful. No two firings are exactly the same; application and shape of the ware influence the final finish. Colors range from solid to translucent, and each contains tiny flecks of accent color. Finishes range from satin to glossy. All are toxic except Indian Summer and Sahara Sand. Fire to cone 06, on cone 04 bisque. Overglaze compatible except Autumn.
