Duncan Miller Sandwich Glass Crimped Lg Serving Bowl

For sale is a lovely elegant depression glass bowl in the Early American Sandwich pattern made by Duncan Miller Glass.  Most folks just call this great old fashioned design "Sandwich" and you can see how the sheaves of wheat motif and stars and cross hatching designs really show up on the table with a dark cloth. This large bowl is 11 1/2 inches wide with a broadly crimped (ruffled) top. It is nice and deep and would be good for serving veggies, a bowl of fruit or flowers on the table or as a console bowl.  It's in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or cloudiness.   This is an old original piece of  depression glass and its age is guaranteed as is all glass at Cheshire Cat Antiques.  The UPS shipping/insurance for this item will be $11.00 within the continental USA (just ask for other locations or if you need USPS).
