You will find that our Alpaca is just as easy to 'fluff up' on baby's head as it is to style to stand up straight in certain cute spots or also easy to tame and tone down to lay against baby's scalp.  It is quite versatile for the Reborn Artist and is a natural-looking straight fiber.




High Quality Alpaca Roving is a wonderful option for very fine rooting, the strands are perfect for a newborn or preemie baby's new growth.  I have also found this particular Alpaca to be wonderful for the Reborn Baby Kits and it is as lovely and even-toned as it looks, handles like a dream.

I call this color Cowboy Brown because it is a very nice medium brunette tone that I have many reborn artists requesting.  A little goes a long way too and you should have minimal to no waste with this high quality roving.  Staple length is going to be slightly shorter on the average than regular roving mohair we offer and hair is fine so it is just right for that little newborn or preemie head of hair, also great for rooting the primate, monkey, and orangutang babies that are so popular.  We also will feature this Alpaca Roving in Black and in a dye-free very light natural sugar brown tone.

You can root this lovely hair using one of our many unique varieties of felting needles to create a very realistic look to your reborn doll's scalp.
