E.P.A. The Design that Sets It Apart:

The cutting edge design of the stove is what enables it to burn so efficiently and create so many BTU’s which such a small firebox.  This results in almost no ash, and huge reductions in the amount of wood needed to heat your application.  The design is based on a 3 stage combustion process.

The 1^st stage is when the wood burns in the fire box.  The wood essentially dries itself out in this stage so it will burn efficiently.  This is the only time the stove will have a fair amount of exhaust fumes as the steam exits the unit.  The firebox is situated above the Fusion Combustor Chamber® which is where the next step takes place.

The 2^nd stage is the heat producing stage.  Primary combustion occurs when hot gases are released from the wood and partly burned off, this heat is transferred into the water from the firebox.   A large amount of combustible gas still remains after this process, these gases are forced down into the second firebox which is called the Fusion Combustor Chamber.  These super-heated gases ignite creating an extremely hot flame and what is called secondary combustion. 

The 3^rd stage is when the super hot flame is forced sideways into the Reaction Chamber™ where heat is transferred into the water through heat exchangers.  These heat exchangers run diagonally from the Fusion Combustor Chamber to the chimney and have spirals built in to force the hot gases to the outside for the best heat transfer to the water.  The extremely high temperatures achieved burn the gases off so completely that combustion efficiencies approach 100% and almost there is almost zero ash.  This creates its high efficiency, high BTU output, and low emissions. 

When the stove is burning the exhaust fumes turn clear because the excess carbon that is normally let out the chimney is now being burnt off at almost 100% combustion efficiency.   That is the same combustion efficiency as a hi-efficiency gas furnace.  They accomplished this with years of testing and engineering, this unit has been on the market for over a year now with fatnastic results.  Most people lower their wood consumption on average by 65-70% when switching from a competitor’s stove, some have gone down as much as 80%. 

Specs:. 

The firebox is 36 inches long and 30 inches wide and 41 inches high and can store enough wood for a 24 hour burn time in a normal application.  It has 119 sq. ft. of heat transfer area thanks to its patented design increasing efficiency.  The door is 23” x 29” allowing for easy loading. It holds 450 gallons of water and weighs 2,900lbs. dry allowing plenty of storage for those high demand times.   It is slightly smaller in

BTU output than the CL6048 due to its smaller firebox, but can still put out much more heat than a CL5036 which means it can replace a lot of propane or fuel oil. The special design gives it much more output than a similar sized firebox.   The average application for this stove is either a large insulated building of 3-8,000 sq. ft. or multiple homes and/or insulated garages/shops.  Please email to find out which size is right for you.

This is one of few outdoor wood furnaces that is UL listed and certified as a heating appliance.  In most areas it is illegal to even sell a heating appliance that is not UL listed.  One of the only furnaces on the market to have been independently tested for efficiency and emissions.  In all tests ran against competitors’ furnaces the Central Boiler came out on top by significant amounts.  The stove comes with a 25 year warranty on workmanship and a lifetime warranty on the door.  Central Boiler stands behind their products and has great customer service.  The benefits of a Central Boiler are a combination of things, the sprayed on urethane insulation that is in most places 5-6 inches thick.  This creates an air tight seal around the firebox preventing corrosion and heat loss that other methods cannot match.  The snow will not melt off the roof during the winter unless the sun melts it!  Some furnaces claim they have secondary combustion but most have designs that actually cool off the fire.  There are many claims made about other furnaces that are against the laws of physics.  Some people tell you to burn green wood because you will go through less wood in a year, this idea goes against known physics. To increase the heat transfer area the Central Boiler has a patented Reaction Chamber design to increase the amount of surface area available to transfer heat to the water.

Our neighbor had a barrel style furnace with the chimney out the top to heat his poorly insulated shop, the barrel style stove (Royall) could not keep up especially when it was colder out.  The unit eventually needed service so we disconnected it for him so the factory could pick it up.  He needed heat and we had just got in a Central Boiler furnace so we decided to let him use it until his other stove came back from the factory.  We installed the Central Boiler in place of the barrel style one and did not change a thing.  After using the Central Boiler for 1 week, he called the factory and told them to keep his old stove and send his money back so he could buy the Central Boiler, when asked how it was working, he said "I told the factory they can keep their furnace" he was so impressed with the Central he purchased it shortly after.  The Central Boiler heated his shop even when it was colder out.  He burned 55 face cords of wood with the barrel style stove and the next year with the Central Boiler dropped down to an amazing 25 face cords of wood, that's around 55% less wood!  He now heats his shop, his house, and domestic hot water with the same stove and still uses less wood than when he only heated his shop with the barrel style stove.   He bought a CL5648 the predecessor to the CL6048 if he would have bought an E-2300 he would have dropped his usage about another 20-25%!!!
