EARLY VINTAGE SILK BROCADE SEWING KIT /SCISSORS SHAKER?
(This week: a fine collection of early shaker and hand made sewing items!)

This great little sewing roll-up is made of a delicate green / grey silk brocade with a peach satin lining. The scissors are marked "Italy", dating this to the very early 1900s. The scissors are held in by little pink ribbons with hand stitching, and two flaps. They are in like-new condition, the kit appears to have never been used. Similar to Shaker workmanship of the early 1900s, although difficult to tell for sure.

CONDITION: Excellent condition, with a few areas with VERY LIGHT discoloration. Also, the button to close has wear to the silk covering.
