About This Piece:

This little blue bird is painted with the best quality acrylics on a 11x14 masters touch artists canvas panel. He/she is very cute. And would make an excellent decorative item. I painted this little guy to exhibit at the Hillsdale County fair. The last fair of the year held in Hillsdale County Michigan. This bird painting is ready to frame.

The winning bidder will be email an EBSQ certificate of authenticity. The paintings comes signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon, on both the front and back. Will also be varnished for protection.

20% of the proceeds from this auction will be donated to Professional animal retirement center. A rescue dedicated to taking in large wild cats, and other homeless wildlife and retired circus animals.

About the Artist:

Currently, I am an artist working out of my own home. I raise rabbits, and pigeons, and have several other pets.

I can paint commissioned pet portraits upon request (see ebay store, or EBSQ profile for more details). I have shown my art all over my county in the past, including our county fair. I also show at the St. Joe County, and hillsdale county fairs every year.

A lot of my work is painted to compete and show. I have won several best in shows, and honorable mentions from showing at the county fairs.

My art has been sold to, and collected in other counties as well as the US.

I am also a member of the Branch County art guild, a large group of artists in the southern part of Michigan that is dedicated to showing and promoting original works of art. I have exhibited my art through them at the tibbitts opera house, and various other locations in the past. Our group even painted a mural in downtown Coldwater MI, of which I was very actively involved in.

I am also EBSQ certifified and participate in alot of their online art shows.

Each of my paintings comes with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, signed by me.
