This is an issue of Confessions Illustrated #2, dated May 1956. This was published by EC Publishing as part of the Picto-Fiction series. William Gaines was the publisher, Al Feldstein was editor /writer, with art by Reed Crandall, Jack Kamen, Joe Orlando, Johnny Craig, and Rudy Nappi.
This is a very good copy of this magazine, but it's certainly not a file copy. I don't normally grade comics, so I may not use the "standard" terms, but I'll try to do my best in describing the flaws. The front cover has two small corner tears at the bottom right side, creating a little triangle. Other than that, there's quite a few pock marks from being handled. The interior pages are in excellent shape, with off-white newsprint paper in great condition.
This picto-fiction comic (or graphic novel) is rather rare, and a big part of the controversial EC Comics history.
