DESCRIPTION:  This is a touching story of life in an Andean village in Ecuador.  The story is interspersed with pages dedicated to facets of Ecuadorian life, geography and culture, such as the importance of guinea pigs (called cuy in Ecuador), the local method of terracing the soil for agriculture, or alpacas.  Color illustrations and photos (of the alpacas).

CONDITION:  Very good, small crease on front cover perpendicular to the spine.
