EDINBURGH SCOTLAND STERLING CITRINE SOUVENIR SPOON 1910

It was made in England for the Scottish market, possibly for the Coronation of King George V. It features "EDINBURGH" in raised, repousse letters in the "Butler's" (matte) finish, gold washed bowl. It has a twist handle culminating in a thistle & faceted, amber color, Citrine semi-precious stone.It is part of a small collection of early souvenir spoons that I will be listing this week.

It measures about 4 3/4" (12 cm.) long & weighs 10.7 grams.

It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends or gouges. It has no monogram or engraving. It would make a unique gift.

It has British Hallmarks: "C&N" = the silversmiths Crisford & Norris; an anchor = Birmingham, England; the lion passant = Sterling Silver & the date letter "l" = 1910.
