Simpson Strong-Tie EDT22A
Epoxy-Tie, 22oz Epoxy Dispensing Tool
Dual Chamber, High-Power Drive, Trigger-Release Brake
Includes unused dual-chamber tube of ET22 Anchor Adhesive
If you've never seen one of these before, it's like a dual-chamber caulk-gun on steroids. Although I'm sure the adhesive has severl uses, I primarily used it to anchor all-thread and anchor bolts to concrete and home foundations. I am a former builder and I had used the single chamber, hand-mix epoxy adhesives on several occasions. I didn't like them because it was tough to adequately mix the two chemicals and get a good adhesive reaction. So, I purchased one of these. These units seperate the two chemicals into two individual tubes. The gun ejects chemical from each tube at an equal rate and the chemicals mix in the mixing tip for an even mix and a strong bond. When you're done you simply throw away the tip and use a new one the next time around.
This particular gun is NEW and has never been used. It cost $99.00 new and comes with 1 unused ET22 anchor adhesive dual-tube ($25 each). It also comes with 4 mixing tips ($4 each). With all the pieces this is about $120 worth of equipment.
