From My Personal Collection at NO RESERVEFor auction this week at NO RESERVE is this outstanding selection of vintage Eyedropper and Safety pens from my personal collection. All of the pens listed are CHOICE pens, all are certainly gift and/or investment quality, and better examples would be hard to find. Every pen I sell comes with a buyer satisfaction guarantee. From My Personal Collection at NO RESERVE is this OUTSTANDING and very Rare MASONIC eyedropper fountain pen in beautiful STERLING SILVER overlay from Edward Todd & Co of New York. A very sought after name in vintage pens! Overall, it just doesn't get much better than this! Circa 1890-1910. This pen is in outstanding condition, showing no major dents or dings! The hammered overlay is signed STERLING, and features an excellent chased logo with the Masonic symbols of a compass and square, along with an arm holding a hammer. If anyone can further identify the design, please email me and I'll pass the info along to the auction winner. Slip cap removes smoothly and fits properly on barrel end. Both pen and case appear as new, but are at least 100 years old! The removable pocket clip has worn a "rub" beneath it, which could be buffed out, if desired, but I've left this pen as found. The nib is OUTSTANDING, a desireable horse shoe vent hole with a BROAD - STUB - ITALIC tip. Excellent iridium, and I'm sure this pen must have been used for decorative documents and certificates. This is a wonderful, and very rare, nib, and the pen/nib/case combination is just outstanding! Solid 14K gold nib is signed EDWARD TODD & CO - PROFESIONAL. Nice, flexible tines, BROAD tip, tines aligned, with good, smooth tipping material. This pen is NEVER seen at market in any condition! Measures 5.25" in length closed. A nicer example would be impossible to find! On top of all this, the pen case is the original Edward Todd hard shell "coffin" case in tooled leather over wood, beautiful royal purple velvet interior with awesome GOLD LEAF logo. Box's original hinge and clasp is intact and excellent. Original ink dropper has no chips or cracks, rubber bulb is a replacement and still has good flex. This pen has been in my collection for some time as a prized member. Every pen I sell comes with a buyer satisfaction guarantee. * An excellent example of a highly collectible pen! Certainly gift and/or investment quality. See photos for more details. I have many great vintage pens listed this week!
