The ULTRASAVER operates on compressed air and electricity, and uses a precision timer to control the amount of fluid applied. Some typical uses include bonding parts with identical dots of adhesive, sealing with neat beads of silicone, and potting electronic components with uniform amounts of epoxy. The ULTRASAVER's consistent application lowers fluid consumption an average of 50% or more, improves quality, and reduces rework and cleanup.
Setup and operation of the ULTRASAVER is simple and efficient. To dispense uniform amounts of fluid, the user just sets air pressure, adjusts the timer, and presses an electronic foot pedal. The timer is easily deactivated if operator-controlled application is required.
Fluid is contained in disposable barrel reservoirs fitted with precision tips. Specially designed barrel pistons improve fluid control and reduce waste by wiping reservoirs clean as fluid is dispensed. Users can customize their systems by choosing from an extensive selection of EFD tips, barrels and pistons designed for specific fluids and applications - from Teflon-lined tips and 3cc barrels for small dots of reactive adhesive to high-flow tapered tips and 55cc barrels for beads of silicone.
