Item is in good condition and powers up with no indicators of inoperability once a new bulb is replaced.  The bulb is missing from this unit so further testing has not been done and item is being sold AS-IS.  The bulb needed is the OSRAM HBO part # R103W/45 (I have seen some of these or similar looking lamps on ebay as well as other sites...here is a link with more information regarding the bulb: http://www.atlantalightbulbs.com/ecart/nw012104/OSRAMHBOR103W.45.htm.   

Bidding indicates that the potential buyer understands the following terms and is sure the item will fit his/her needs. I attempt to provide useful information about items up for auction, but due to lack of resources and personal knowledge concerning some items, I may only be able to provide an item's company name, model #, and the item's appearance (which will be stated as accurately as possible). It is the responsibility of the buyer to know what he/she is bidding on, how to use it, and if the item will work in his/her applications. Most items are likely in good working order, as they have been in storage since I have received them as part of a wholesale buyout. However, I am merely a seller of reclaimed scientific & test equipment, I am not a technician or engineer. I may be able to inform if an item powers up and appears to be in working order, I most likely may not be capable of testing a particular item to determine whether or not it is fully/partially operable or in inoperable condition and in need of repairs. Unless otherwise stated, items will be shipped only with what is pictured. I will attempt to respond accurately as possible to any questions posted, but please take into consideration what was previously noted. Do not bid if you cannot abide by these terms & conditions.  

I will accept returns for items up to seven days upon delivery, unless an item was described as being sold in AS-IS condition within the listing. Please contact me and inform me of the issue with the item before sending it back. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Items will be shipped either by UPS or U.S. Postal Service, unless otherwise stated in the item description (i.e., a very large, heavy item needing to be crated). Buyer to pay all shipping costs, which include postage, packing costs, and insurance (which is optional and under the discretion of the buyer). Shipping costs may be reduced for multiple items sold. Items will be packed as carefully as possible and shipped within 3 business days after I receive payment and checks clear. If you are located in the Northern California Bay Area and wish to pick the item up, please contact me through email so we can arrange a time and place for pick up (in this situation shipping costs will be canceled).

I accept personal and company checks with a confirmed address (please allow 10-14 days for checks to clear), as well as payment through Paypal or money order drawn on US bank or postal service. Highest bidders please remit within seven days of notification of seller.
