The Djinn attached to this ring is a sensual Efrit class female, who is approximately 6,200 years old. She manifests to her Keeper most often in dreams, visions and during periods of meditation, though full physical manifestations have also been reported. She most often appears to her keeper astrally as a tall woman with a thin, athletic build, with jet black hair and pale ivory skin. Her eyes are pale and change color depending on her moods, going from their normal light gray to icy blue when she is physically or emotionally aroused. Physically, she tends to manifest as a mist like figure, an orb or orbs of light, via electrical disturbances, or sometimes with spicy fragrances. Like all the Seraglio spirits, she is quite "touchy", and you will likely experience things like tingling sensations, lightly stroking touches, and faint breezes against your skin.

What are the Djinn?

Djinn, also called Jinn, Djinni or Genie, are a race of creatures born of smokeless fire. The word "jinn" literally means anything which has the connotation of concealment and invisibility. For the ancient Semites, Jinn were spirits of vanished ancient peoples who acted during the night and disappeared with the first light of dawn, thus furthering the widespread belief today that the Jinn were the first creatures to inhabit the earth. Many of these beings could make themselves invisible or change shape into animals at will. The types of jinn include the jann, the ghul (or "night shade"), the shaitan, the efrit and the marid. Many spiritualists believe the Marids and Efrits are the strongest of the Djinn, and these classifications of jinnis have the ability to change not only their own shapes, but some of the properties of the world around them.

This Efrit is a spirit of the Fire element, and she brings with her a passionate nature and an intensity that you can only get when working with a fire elemental! The Fire Element is associated with the South and summer, a red triangle, the athame, blood, candles, the guitar, rubies, and incense. Fire represents energy, inspiration, passion, and masculinity. In rituals, Fire is represented in the forms of burning objects, love spells, baking, lighting candles and fires. Cats of all types, especially the lion and tiger, are also thought to personify the element of Fire.

In modern Islam, the existence of the Jinn is widely accepted as fact. This vessel was handcrafted in Afghanistan, and we're estimating it to be around 65-75 years old. It's made of a blend of old world silvers and brass with a green glass or paste stone. Size 7.5. You do not have to wear this piece to summon the sprit, though I do recommend some form of skin contact each day for proper bonding to occur.
