Genuine Ancient Egyptian Ushabti.

X Pilar Muñiz de Camahort Collection.

Beautiful turquoise glaze faience  ushabti with mummiform pose; arms are folded at chest & holding a hoe in the right hand and a pick at left.  Elegant slender proportions with a smooth finish.  Lovely delicate facial features & cylindrical false beard.

Exquisite quality and excellent condition. 

Custom Wood Mount--easily removable from base.

Excellent Provenance--Ex Pilar Muñiz de Camahort, acquired in Cairo
from R.M. Nahman in the 1950s
by descent to Angelina Camahort de Boehm, Madrid
by descent to the present owner

Pilar Muñiz de Camahort was married to
 Ricardo Muñiz y Verdugo, Minister Counselor in
the Spanish Embassy to King Farouk
and later President Nasser.
