For your consideration, this beautiful Electric Purple Fenton Spittoon/Cuspidor Vase is up for auction.
Sometimes a Contemporary Carnival Item comes around and you just can't resist it!
Manufactured by Fenton in 1982, this Drop-dead Gorgeous Ladies Cuspidor Vase is known (as far as I know) only as their #9423. The Base Color of the glass is a Deep Purple with Superb Electric Rainbow Iridescence. This vase is On Fire with Electric Emerald Greens, Deep Magentas, Electric Lime & Sky Blue Iridescence. Listing such a Superb Carnival Glass Item is great because I can let the photos say it all! I've added plenty of Natural Light Photos (it was actually overcast when the photos were taken). This Cuspador Vase has a Beautiful Pinstripe Background with Blossoming Flora & Fauna all the way around the vase. The Collar Base is Marked Fenton with the Original Paper Sticker as well. This Fenton #9423 is 4 3/4" tall, the Mouth is 5 1/2" wide and it sets on its Collar Base which is 3 3/8" wide.

The condition is Near-Mint. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, flea bites, abrasions or loss of iridescence. There are three common heat strikes on the base (the three silvery marks in the last photo) which is from the manufacturing process. They are mentioned for accuracy - this is a very Reflective Bowl so everything else in the photos is just Reflection. I hope you can agree that this Superb Cuspidor Vase would be a Stunning Addition to any Collection of Contemporary or Antique Carnival Glass.
