These video training programs feature Jim Johnson, America’s best-known technical writer in the major appliance field. Jim is noted for his no-nonsense, nuts and bolts method of presenting information on technical subjects. Participants in his live training sessions over the years have commented that they have come away with a complete understanding of the concepts they need to know in order to troubleshoot and service major appliances.

All of Jim's  video/workbook programs include a multiple-choice evaluation at the beginning of the program, enabling participants to assess their level of understanding at the beginning of the segment. The multiple-choice evaluation is repeated at the end of the segment, allowing participants to again assess their level of understanding.

Also included the programs are Individual technician workbooks. Using this format, technicians don’t just watch and listen, they participate, which means they learn and understand more.

The technician’s three-ring binders contain prepared notes as well as space for fill-in-the-blank information, wiring diagrams that are completed, and refrigeration systems and cycles that are identified and labeled.
