Artists Will Conrad and Sandu Florea pencilled and inked this issue of Elektra v2 published by Marvel Comics!
This original art, measuring approximately 11" x 17", is illustrated on standard weight comic art illustration board.
"Prophet and Loss" tells how Elektra the Assassin took a job in the Southeast Asian island nation of Naou, where the new Prime Minister has secretly hired her to kill the rebel leader known as the Piaka Loio, before he can stage a revolt against the government.
Elektra posed as a member of the Royal Family and deliberately allowed the insurgents to kidnap her, and take her to their base. Once there, she learns the rebels are about to make their move. Now, Elektra has shed her disguise and quickly seeks out her target, but she's going to make a chilling discovery...
This page depicts the rebel's mountain camp, where Elektra eavesdrops on the ramblings of the old drunk Merak, who relates the history of their people, as the very shadows on the wall seem to illustrate the story he tells!
