ELGIN 14K GOLD POCKET WATCH

No Reserve

     Let me start by saying this pocket watch in 14K gold alone weighs 56 grams. I could scrap the gold for between $900.00 and $1000.00. I started low so have fun with this one. You are bidding on a Elgin 14k Gold Wind Up Pocket watch in working condition. This pocket watch is 17 jewels. I took watch to my Jeweler to insure authentic and to weigh just the gold. Does have its fair share of use meaning dings, scratches, and scuffs. It is not at all garbage, but want all to know this is not perfect. Like I said it has several dings, scratches, etc. I did weigh the watch with the chain and all together it is 135.5 grams, but the chain is not gold. Some of that weight is from the crystal, etc. The actual weight of the gold is 56 grams. The crystal is about 43mm. I believe the crystal is plastic, not glass. Case width is about 55mm. Has kept time fine the last couple of days. Please for further questions please don't hesitate.
