I've
felt the need to add a little section concerning the in person
autographs that I obtain. I've been doing this for quite a few
years now and travel to hotels, practices, games, and other
events to track down athletes, celebrities, and other
autograph worthy people. I receive e-mails all the time
whenever I post something for sale stating "Does this
come with a COA?", "How did you get this
item?", etc. So I'm simply going to answer it in this
little column right here. All of my in person autographs are
completely legit. Check out a small collage I put together
featuring pictures of myself and celebrities. I do not have
the time, nor would I want to sit here and scan picture by
picture of the 1,000+ celebrities I have photos of/with, but
more than likely I have some sort of photographic proof of
your particular item, feel free to ask if need be. Also, I DO
NOT deal in certificates of authenticity, my reason being is
that I feel home made printed up pieces of paper are
absolutely worthless and hold no value when trading/selling
the item as nobody really knows who I am and can credit me as
a certified and legit source. I have purchased many autographs
like this on ebay and other sources and to tell all of you the
truth, I throw that piece of paper in the garbage seconds
after I open the package. This is not to say I believe the
autograph is fake, I wouldn't purchase it otherwise, I just
feel that paper has no value as a true certificate because
it's not authenticated through the likes of PSA, Beckett, GAI,
or other sources. Anyhow, I think that just about covers it. Thanks for looking. |
