TRIPLE FUSEE MUSICAL BELLS CLOCK WHICH IS OF MONTH DURATION!

A rare silver-mounted, limited edition quarter chiming bracket clock of one month duration made to commemorate the 1977 Silver Jubilee, this one in fantastic original condition complete with framed glazed certificate of authenticity,

The arched case surmounted by a solid Sterling silver handle over pierced wooden sound frets depicting Tudor roses and the initials ER II in a foliate design backed in red/pink silk.

This magnificent clock has solid STERLING SILVER ogee bracket feet, the solid silver dial with prominent hall marks confirming date of manufacture as 1977, the silvered chapter ring cast with corner pieces representing the four Royal residences, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Balmoral and Sandringham set below the cast and burnished Royal Standard, the substantial triple fusee movement supplied by F.W Elliot with lever platform escapement chiming a choice of Westminster, Whittington or Winchester chimes on up to eight bells via the tune selector to the rear.

 The clock has a CHIME/SILENT lever switch to the dial.

The substantial  backplate is engraved with Tudor roses and the full inscription 'Specially Commissioned by Garrard The Crown Jewellers From F.W Elliott Ltd. in a framed blue leatherette glazed holder.

The dial is fully hallmarked Sterling Silver, as too are the substantial handle and the bracket feet.

Comes with original T-BAR Elliott winding key- neccesary for the oversize power train for supplying MONTH duration!

The clock is in full working order but has not been serviced and is sold as such.

The overall size of the clock is quite compact - given its features, and it would sit nicely on any modern mantlepiece
