This radio was made for AM and Shortwave broadcast

It was designed to operate using standard 110v household current.

DETAILS:

The wood cabinet has been refinished, a nice job, and is in very nice shape. Stein's reference book indicates this is an Ingraham cabinet but no tag to confirm that fact is present. The three knobs are original and operate as they should. The dial cover is in nice shape, clear with no cracks. The six tube chassis is rust free, and complete. The original back survives on this seventy year old beauty. The power cord was replaced when the radio was repaired to working order several years ago by a veteran technician. Currently the radio plays very well on the AM band, with a couple of stations heard on the shortwave band. Extending the wire antenna will improve reception. This and all older radios surviving past their intended life span should be played sparingly, and should not be left playing unattended.

The radio would would be perfect for an art deco or mid century inspired decor and would also be a nice addition to your radio collection.

Payment: Pay-Pal works best for me. Payment is expected within seven days after the auction ends. I usually ship Parcel Post, or Priority via the US Postal Service. Insurance is required / recommended, with the additional cost the buyer’s responsibility.
