This Bewitching Vintage Silk Tunic has a Flattering Empire Cut,

with Lavish Silk Embroidery onFront, Back & Sleeves!

There is almost no machine stitching on this, it is almost all hand sewn with the exception of the side "French" seams. It is very well done, and strong.

There are several Types of Lace in this piece.

The Pretty Bodice, has a double row of what looks like Handmade Maltese Lace,

with an interesting Shell pattern, over appliqued in the front with

a band of Tambour Roses on Net, which don't show up well in these pictures,

but are very pretty, and add a lot of texture to the front.

The Back Panel has hidden Snaps and Hooks,

and has as Pretty Embroidery as the Front.

The Scalloped Edged Neck is very Lacy and Delicate.

Sleeves are trimmed with Handmade Filet, or Darned Lace.

This is Hand Woven Not Crocheted and very delicate.

This Blouse has been cleaned and pressed, so it looks as Lovely

as it would have when it was originally worn.

I would consider this top to be a SMALL in SIZE

The Silk Fabric and Lace are in Excellent Condition, no weak spots, or mends.

There are a few beige spots on one sleeve, and a Subtle line across the back hem that looks like a water mark, this is very close to the bottom and starts and stops among the embroidered flowers, so it isn't too obvious. It is only on the fabric, not on the embroidery. Also there are 3 blue pin point dots on the skirt under one arm. All this hardly shows, and may come out with additional spot treatment, or general cleaning. Otherwise this Blouse is in good wearable condition.
