Enid Collins of Texas ~ Original Box Bag

"Sun Valley"

For auction is a beautiful example of an Enid Collins of Texas collectible "box bag"! This one is entitled "Sun Valley", and features Collins' signature sunburst and  snowflakes, and her trademark "ec" on the bottom corner. It is in wonderful condition... all jewels are present and original, and the interior is immaculate. The brass hinge and "feet" are shiny. The only flaw I see is the leather close tab is dingy  from dust, and slightly crinkled.  Measurements:  9½” x 5 “ x 2¾”

Anecdotal info.:  I originally thought the theme of this purse might be based on Sun Valley, NV, near Lake Tahoe. A more knowledgeable Collins collector corrected me... it's actually based on Sun Valley, Idaho, also a well-known ski-area.
