ESTHER SCROLL PARCHMENT MANUSCRIPT JUDAIC GERMANY 1700s

You are bidding on an extremely rare, very old [MANUSCRIPT] undated, "Complete Scroll of Esther". The scroll came from Germany and is Hand written by one scribe in the original Hebrew Language on Genuine parchment. The Letters are written according to the early Ashkinaz Custom called “The Valish Script” and is approximately 350-400 years old. The date of this Unique Esther scroll is based on very specific details in the shape of the letters which is clearly belongs to 350-400 years ago. There are special characters in this Scroll as it is an ancient tradition from thousands of years ago that was kept by the Ashkenazim up until a few hundreds years ago. Those special characters has a kabbalistic meaning to them but because the confusion of where and how to draw them the scribes were ordered to stop adding them to the Scroll. The scroll is approx. 15 inches in height x 8 feet long with 11 columns of 31 lines of text per column. Panes are tightly sewn together with natural animal string.
