My method of measuring:
Bust – from under arm to under arm then doubled.
Sleeve-Length – from top of sleeve at shoulder-seam (or edge of shoulder pad) to tip of cuff.
Length of a top – from shoulder seam to hem (unless it has no sleeves or spaghetti straps).
Waist – side to side, then doubled.
Hips- from side to side at widest part of hip, then doubled.
Rise - from waistband in front to 4-way seam at crotch.
Inseam – from the 4-way or X seam at the crotch to bottom of pantleg.

Please understand that I purchase more than one of each item if available, and only measure the 1st one of each manufacturer in each size, so there could be a slight difference. It's rare - but occassionally, one size 6 is a little longer, or 1/4" off than another size 6. Email me to double check if there is any question.
