This exceptional Vintage Signed EVANS Sterling Silver Compact measures 4 5/8" across, features three-dimensional basket weave pattern in silver, yellow gold & rose gold vermeils, all on Sterling Silver. 

The exterior pattern is the same on both sides, and the compact is in Excellent like-new condition throughout.  The interior is mint and bright with mirror perfect and original mesh powder screen.  High quality, the style is Art Deco / Retro.  Perfect gift for the collector.

Made by the Evans Case Co. of N. Attleboro, Mass, in business from 1923 - 1960.  To find a Sterling Evans compact in such great condition is scarce.  This compact is exquisite - the front is shown in first photo, and backside is in 3rd photo. This exact compact is pictured in my book 200 Years of American Manufactured Jewelry & Accessories.  American, c. 1940 - 1950.
