You are bidding on two original photographs of the lovely
silent film-era stars, Evelyn Brent and Alice Joyce. These are 8 x 10 inch prints in typical vintage sepia tones. They are printed on thicker paper stock than most movie stills, and are both autographed in fountain-pen ink. At this time, these photographs were sometimes signed by secretaries or other studio employees, but they were also often signed by the stars themselves.

We make no claims here as to the authenticity of these signatures but the images are charming nonetheless. Miss Joyce's reads,
"Sincerely yours Alice Joyce," and Miss Brent's reads "Sincerely Yours Evelyn Brent."

Both prints show their age. The Brent photo has a crease across the upper left corner and a small tear in the upper right border. The Joyce print has a crease in the lower left corner and a smaller one in the upper right corner. They are otherwise in good condition. Please note that the Joyce photo is not as washed out as it appears in this scan.

Evelyn Brent (1890-1955) appeared in 126  films between 1915 and 1950 including Underworld and The Seventh Victim. Miss Joyce (1890-1955) made 209 films between 1910 and 1930 including Beau Geste and Stella Dallas.
