EXCELLENT QUALITY CASED 1915 STERLING FISH SLICE & FORK

FEATURING EARLY FRENCH IVORY HANDLES ~ NICE CONDITION !

This is an excellent quality 1915 Silver and French Ivory (an early form of Plastic like Bakelite) fish slice and serving fork, amazingly still in it's original fitted case. The large metal portions are Silver Plated, but this is a higher quality set with Sterling Silver collars, hallmarked with maker's mark of WY then Crown (Sheffield), Lion (Sterling) and date letter for 1915. The blade of the knife is beautifully engraved. The knife measures approx. 11-3/4" long, the fork measures approx. 9" long, perfect if you are serving fish, but also for serving cake etc. This set is in very good condition with very minor surface age use. The handles are also in very good condition with very minor age use. This fine set comes in the original fitted case measuring approx. 13" long x 4-1/4" wide x 1-1/4" high and the outer portion of case shows some wear, consistent with age, though it displays fine and protects the set perfectly. This is part of a huge estate we are handling, really one of the finest we have had in years, so be sure to Click here to see A LOT more Sterling and Silver Plate. I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !!
