This is a really exceptional late Victorian Silver Plate three piece carving set, done in the most desirable King's Pattern and by the fine firm of Chas. Barber & Co. of Sheffield England. The service includes one (1) 14-1/2" long carving knife, one (1) 10-1/2" long carving fork and one (1) 12-3/4" long steel, with all the pieces being in really amazing condition, I am certain the new owner will be most impressed. I purchased the service in the solid wood case you see in the photos, it stores and displays the service very well, but the pieces do not fit in perfectly and obviously it is not the original. I can't even fathom what a competent service like this would cost to purchase new, and this service is already a desirable antique. This is part of a huge estate we are handling, really one of the finest we have had in years, so be sure to Click here to see A LOT more Sterling and Silver Plate. I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !!
