This boudoir bed smoking lady doll measures roughly 27" in height. She has a very pretty face, though she will need to be redressed. I think she may have originally worn lounging pajamas or possibly a pierrot outfit. Her lavender rose rayon (?) outfit has totally deteriorated. I am including the lower portion of her costuming which has totally shredded. Her tulle collar remains intact though it has foxed and become soiled from age and storage. She wears her original cap, though it too is in the process of deterioration. Smoker comes with one very soiled and worn pink rayon sock and a pair of black, "squash" heeled patent leather shoes. One buckle is missing from one shoe, while both shoes remain in torn and crushed condition. Smoker's body sustains some holes, particularly on her legs and one foot . Some of the holes were most likely caused by pins which held portions of her outfit in place. Some holes are seam splits which reveal cotton stuffing beneath. Her head appears to be stuffed with straw or excelsior. Smoker's face and body remain in fairly clean condition and without odor. Her facial painting is shyly expressive with some loss of paint to her black brows. Her cigarette is missing. She does retain three tufts of her "Belgian red" mohair wig. Though she will require a bit of restoration, Smoker is quite lovely in her "Clara Bow" demeanor. She was most likely manufactured (in France ?) circa the 1920's into the 1930's. My photos detail her condition accurately. Please study the photos carefully and email with all questions. Though I have tried to provide an honest and detailed description, I may have omitted information that is important to you. I have also provided photos that "speak volumes."
