This is an old Case 580ck loader backhoe. I believe it is a 1972. It is a 4 cylinder diesel with a shuttle shift transmission. It is good old workhorse with 4 gears. Overall this is an average machine. I have replaced about 35% of the hydraulic hoses since I bought it in 2005. There is one hose right now that need to be replaced on the backhoe. Several of the cylinders could be repacked but they all still work fine. It has some leaks in various spots but there are not any engine oil leaks. I replaced the starter this last summer and one of the back tires last spring. I wouldn't want to use this machine every day but it did fine for me on weekends. I found that it was easier to add hydraulic fluid every now and then rather than trying to fix the leaks. This is a heavy piece of equipment, it weighs approximately 14,000 lbs. The hour meter was broken when I got it so I have no clue how many hours it has. It starts right up every time and the charging system works fine. It does smoke a little right one it starts but stops after running for 15 seconds or so. I have accumulated some other toys, so I need to start selling some of the original ones, I will probably regret selling it the first time I need it. Feel free to come by and try it out if you would like prior to purchasing it. I don't know the exact specifications, so you may want to look for yourself. Good luck, I have lifted a full load of concrete in the front bucket approximately 13 feet high and I have dug up over 40 stumps and footers for a building. It will do the job of a $50,000 machine but you won't be as comfortable or look as nice doing it.The winning bidder needs to send a deposit of $300 via Paypal and the remainder is due within 10 days.
