Early looking as they come. This piece is made from brown calicoes found deep inside an early 19thC quilt. Edged with sweet early black cotton velvet and aged to perfection. Has the look of a true early sew pocket with age appropriate and shape. The closure has worn and broke so I’ve used an antique pin to close. Inside has a wool needle keep and large pocket at bottom.
