This is an early Effanbee composition doll. Doll has composition head, arms and legs, cloth body. Doll is about 25” long. Back of neck signed: “EFFANBEE SUGAR BABY TRADE MARK”. Clothing she or he has on embroidered on front: “Sugar Puss”. Not sure if this is an original piece of clothing for doll, tag on clothing reads: “YOUNGS PEOPLES FLOOR Lord Taylor FIFTH AVENUE”. Eyes still work however they look clouded or crackled. There is some wear to paint on hair. Teeth in great shape. Winning bidder pays $12.00 shipping and handling within the United States.
