Early Fin Nor no. 2 Wedding Cake Gar Wood Jr. Fly Reel

I have been asked to sell off a collection of fly fishing tackle owned by a close friend.  These fine examples have been aquired over years of collecting.

Ther are reasonable reserves on all items.

I believe this reel to be built in the 50s.

This Reel is in excellent condition Mechanicaly but has been used and does show wear on the rims.  I have tried to show the wear in the photos please check closely, there is some type of oxidation on the black handle grasps but this does wipe off I will leave this for the buyer to do.  Also a little dirty as seen in photos.

The original owner has also engraved his SSN into the reel Please see photo.

This Reels Dimensions are as follows Dia. 3 1/2" Width between pillars 1" Width between line guide 7/8".

This reel comes with its original zippered case.
