Here is a nice looking cooking or camping stove that was made by Manning Bowman of Meriden Connecticut. It is marked as a model #60. It is in very good condition and appears to be complete. The burner is intact with no rust or holes in the tank. It has very shiny chrome. The bottom is marked as patent pending, but this surely dates to the 1908-1918 range. The heat reflector is still attached and is very shiny. The top grid is held in place by a cotter pin with a chain and tips back for removal of the burner. Only the base seems to have plating loss along the top edge. There is rust spots where the tank sits, but no rust through on the bottom This seems like a really nice kitchen or camping collectible.
