Here we have one very Excellent early/mid 50's A. Zildjian 20" ping ride. Condition is Great and sound is Terrific. 7/16" center hole (Zildjian went to 1/2" sometime in mid 50's). Stamp has no dots in the Arabic U. Uppermost part of the Arabic script missing (I call it a small 50's truncated stamp). Very tight lathing at the bell. Bottom hammering (I believe some top hammering as well).
No cracks or keyholing. Mostly smooth edge. I guess someone cleaned it not long before I got it. Mostly just some fingerprints and stick marks and a couple other stains of some sort. I don't know the exact weight; its heavier than my 5 lb. scale can weigh.
I don't consider this a particularly 50's sounding cymbal, as much as just a well crafted instrument with a universally great ping tone. I recently used it on a 60's/70's Follies show and it worked fantastic (everything from "MacArthur Park" to the Mommas and the Papas and Blood, Sweat, and Tears). Plenty of volume and lots of clarity, and that's using a wood tip stick.
Weight is 5 lbs 11 oz. or 2580 grams on the Post Office scale. I am calling this a ping ride because of its sound and feel. I guess it may be considered a medium ride because of the weight.
